One of the things I get asked the most is how I edit my pictures. Editing my photos is one of my favorite parts of taking pictures. I love the way it can change the whole vibe of your photos and makes them that much better to look at. I’m going to share with you the top editing apps that I use for my posts, stories, and pretty much everything else.

The first and pretty much ONLY photo editing app you need in your life is the Tezza app. This app is only a few months old and created by one of my favorite bloggers Tezza and her boyfriend. This app does cost money, $1.99 a month. However, you can download it and still get a lot of the features for free. My favorite filter that I use for every picture on my page is actually one of the ones you can get without paying for the app, Vintage.

VSCO is definitely one of the staple photo editing apps that you need. It is definitely a well-known app but I still felt like I should add it because a lot of people still have no idea what I’m talking about when I tell them about it. I would definitely recommend paying the $19.99-year subscription for the full range of VSCO filters. VSCO also offers more than just photo editing and filters but you can also discover and connect with other users through their profiles.

Although Lightroom comes as an app I am only familiar with the desktop version. It definitely is on the pricier side and ranges in how much you can pay for it but the one I use and recommend is $9.00 a month. Lightroom is perfect for getting precise and detailed editing. I love it most when I have a lot of pictures to edit for a blog post. One of the great things about Lightroom is that most bloggers have presets that you can buy and instantly add that filter to your photos. When I first got Lightroom I also purchased Tezza’s presets because she didn’t have her app out yet. Now, I have definitely been using the app more than Lightroom but if you want to use different filters for raw or JPEG photos then I highly recommend using Lightroom.

The next is the inevitable Facetune app. I am the type of person that does not give an ef when it comes to admitting that I use Facetune. If I want to smooth out my bruises and fix my blemishes bitch u know I am going to. I use the regular Facetune app because I don’t use the app for much but I know there are several different versions of it that offer more choices. It does cost $3.99 but like what’s three dollars compared to the price of lypo??

Shout out to my brother for showing me this app. I love using this app to add multiple pictures to a story or just to make my story look cooler. I get tons of people messaging me asking what app I use to edit my stories and it’s usually always this one.

Hypetype is awesome for a story where you want to focus on the text you’re writing. It animates the words you put on the post to give it a more professional look – like you really tried. This one does run on the pricier side but there is a free trial so you can see if it would be worth it for you.

Featured is an app that I definitely should start using more often because you can do so much with it. Making collages or giving your story posts some more flair can easily be done while using this app.

I use InstaSize to edit my Instagram story highlight covers. I like it the best because it lets me make clean and minimal covers but I also have the option to make them super detailed and unique.
Hope you enjoyed.. see you on Insta.
